1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using DNS Intel ("the Service"), operated at dnsinfo.lol, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DNS Intel provides DNS intelligence services including:
- DNS record lookups and zone analysis
- Global DNS propagation checking
- Zone health analysis and recommendations
- Subdomain enumeration via Certificate Transparency logs
- WHOIS information lookups
- RESTful API access to all features
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Free Tier and Trial
DNS Intel offers:
- Free Tier: 3 API requests per 24-hour period without an account
- Free Trial: 30 days of unlimited access upon registration (no credit card required)
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free offerings at any time.
5. Paid Subscriptions
5.1 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or quarterly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.
5.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
5.3 Price Changes
We may modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights
- Conduct unauthorized security scanning or penetration testing
- Harvest or collect data for spam or marketing without consent
- Overload, disrupt, or attack the Service or its infrastructure
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use automated systems to abuse the Service
7. API Usage
When using our API, you agree to:
- Respect rate limits and quotas
- Include proper attribution when displaying our data publicly
- Not cache results for longer than 24 hours without permission
- Handle API responses appropriately and not misrepresent data
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by DNS Intel and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
9. Data Accuracy
DNS Intel provides data "as is" from various public sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or current. DNS records and WHOIS data are subject to change by their respective authorities.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DNS INTEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DNS Intel and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
